Max callibration is 3.5k, seems like you got lower than that.
Your mmr will adjust to within 100-400mmr to where you should be in a week, a month at most, with your current rate of play.

All normal skill, man. I've got no problem but game play-wise you know you've improved as a support player. As seen in the kda. Also, if I reached the point when I can calibrate (10 games), will playing it right away differ from when I should just wait to see if my 'skill' from normal game got to at least 'high' or 'very high' (miraculously) then I calibrate?

Make a new account until u can get VHS within the third game.

The first 10 games are critical/crucial. If you dont get HS or VHS you wont calibrate at high mmr.

Get a new account, play mid/carry roles (but dont mid with 2-3 -_-, better go off/safe or even jungle if others are noob, but at the same time don't let them feed too much by ganking or fake tping in case they are getting killed)... mostly some heroes with mobility... AoE heroes are great too... focus on winning rather that KDA... achieve ur goal once u win some team fights... for first 25 games go for turbo mode since only few heroes are allowed for the first 25 games, turbo will get u over those in like 25*20 mins (avg). See that u get atleast HS/VHS in buff...

If you're a 2k scrub, creating new accounts won't make you 4k+. Easy as that

well I believe there s something wrong with the new account..it s jsut a matter of luck for the first 10 games... those KDA shows that he s capable of playing what he plays as support!!! thats weird he doesnt get HS.

I opened a topic few days ago...same here... WD support 25 matches 72% of win rate( above 80 % first games) didnt see high skills as well... matter of luck man!!! u will get there maybe in 100 games...otherwise create another account and try again...luck and luck

Calibrated at 3400-3500 always, no more no less back when numerical MMR is still the bracket. This is my first time creating a new account this season and is now very curius about dota buff. I read the threads and tried it out for the first time. Even if I am a 2k those stats, are pretty high, no deaths, and a support (always) at that. Not to go off-topic, my only concern is where is the high skill? Even once? It's my 2nd new account this season, as a support, 25 games, kda similar to those stats but just normal skill. :(

And not to mention, I won the games. Damn.

I am a legend 5 player with 3.2k mmr solo and around 4k party mmr, playing mainly position 3 and 4. I just wanted to try to calibrate a new dota account to see what i could achieve. Let me tell you that what i am seeing it is being pretty weird because if you play support and you get KDA above 4 (carry kda) and you always are among the top damages of the match, top kills and assist..well to me it means that you know what you are doing!!!! can you play 25 games not knowing what you do and having these results? well i strongly believe it s not possible! I close a game with WD 10 0 20! LOL

I just come to a conclusion that when you set a new account and you click " I already played at dota", after that you ll start a random match and will put u above 2k, randomly (could be also 3.5 or 4) depending on the queue...

if you start at 2k, even though you play well you can gain some 100,150 mmr per game which doesnt bring you above 3.2k /HS)...
if you start at 3k you can gain some 100 per match and after few matches be High skils...

My 2 cents guys... I have seen weird stuff lately in dota... my adivce?? try a new account and if u dont get HS after 3 games dont bother ...yoiu cant get HS in that account..

That said, it does look like you hit the calibration cap in spite of being Normal skill. Maybe the system doesn't bump you out of Normal games until you've hit some minimum threshold of games played, or it uses data that isn't exposed to us to determine your skill group. Maybe MMR, medals, and Normal/High skill don't affect each other as closely as we thought. Is it possible for a 2k mmr player to get High skill games while a 3.5k mmr player gets Normal skill games?

Just thinking out loud here man. I don't have the answers.

I am now able to play ranked game after 36 games. Will calibrate later and see what bracket I belong to with these stats, for a support player. Will update asap.

The important thing here is the HERO DAMGE and team fights. Thats all! I got HS on my 3rd game babe in my another acc but my 1st and 2nd games were bad performance. Hahaha

Dude, it seems like volvo tracks your ip (i mean for everyone) , and if you had an 1k account when you create another steam account and play dota, you will start at that mmr, thats the reason all smurf accounts of pro-players start at vhs in the very fisrt game.

It's common knowledge that volvo activates your computer's webcam and mic for facial/sound recognition, then plugs that into the matchmaker to remove smurfs.

Same situations here, i guess it is because of our e-mail accounts. I used the same gmail acc. from my old one to create this smurf.and my old acc. Is just an archon[5] @ normal skill bracket.
