Cause almost all companies work in this way. Netflix doesn't take £9.99 then cancel your subscription till you want to pay it again, it keeps charging you till you cancel.

Yep happened with me on brazzers forgot about my subscription which i though I cancelled they kept charging me for a year without noticing which eventually cost me around 600$ lols

The funds for renewing the subscription were automatically written off. I ask to return money, as prolongation was included without my knowledge!
