Your medal represents highest MMR you got this season, it doesnt matter if its solo or party, highest one will be your badge, as far as party is concered you cant get higher than ancient on it, so even if your party is 5k you wont be Divine its capped to Ancient by the recent update.
Solo games have more impatch than party games, acording to volvo, but if your party is higher than solo, then your medal will be from party MMR, i have no idea how does it work when you queue because numbers are hidden now.
But on this account im really guardian 3 acording to my solo mmr, because i fed on purpose during calibration games to get in the low league, and my party is much higher so i got crusader 2 and i get matched with Crusaders 3-4 sometimes even low archons, but i cant really say that for sure that medals are counted into matchmaking since i cant see their actual MMR so their medals could be from party MMR too, system is shady as fuck and i hate it, gimme numbers back! :(
Legend 1 starts exactly from 3360, I dont see any problem here or party mmr affection. Its just people that have problems with reading mmr table.

I have 3360 MMR currently and just this match i achieved legend 1 which should be impossible, in fact i should be legend 0. However i play a lot of party MMR games and so do you think this is what is boosting me? How much does it affect does anyone know?
