play a more rightclick build until you are confident you are good, dont buy kaya or veil at all...

you need to farm well with razes (the lane AND the jungle) and you should not by any means lose your 1v1.

Don't get veil or kaya

you want that magic dmg sf then dont go kaya/veil, get that eblade and hex/dagon. with the lvl 25 talent that is liek 7 seconds dagon and 12 seconds eblade...
also kaya gives no mana reg or anything that helps sf (before lvl 20 you still needs 2 razes to kill creep waves, after you might need only one raze, but that doesnt matter anyway when you have the mana reg) and the veil seems nice on paper, but better let one of your supports grab it or ignore the item (because again->it has no mana reg)
just a hint: you are not doing good mid? get a soul ring instead of a bottle, way more reliable for sustain

Sometimes I just go with Drum when playing SF magic damage (+MS and mana regen)

Soul Ring > Bottle when I'm playing Physical damage cuz I'm suck at mid.
