Blink vs sb/se vs hpike on arc in General Discussion

People will not agree on me with this, but I lose less with blink than with sb/se, much much less than hpike(because im a much more shittier user of that item probably).

Am I missing something with sb/hpike that could possibly outdo my arc games with blink?

You dont use hurricane to initiate

ive been on both sides of this argument, worth mentioning that blink doesnt do anything for you defensively and has no stats

is it good? sure. optimal maybe not

i think that buying blink implies you can jump and solo kill people
i'm an awful arc player so it's probably not very relevant but i don't think i remember a game where i would be winning through early-midgame unless i got supported and got like 5 kills in early thanks to people trying to gank me

You don't need the attack range anymore so hurricane is not the pick,

                blink on arc lul?

SB for running into enemy jungle is the choice.

i really like blink dagger when going for a magic aw. might not be viable but fun to play with that double eblade+dagon

Blink is definitely viable, I have seen 7k arc Warden main going for it

Pike is the way to go.

I forgot to mention double force, which that alone makes for a huge reason to pick up hpike, but haven't had enough practice yet to pull it off as smoothly and efficiently as possible

The biggest issue I have with sb is that I often run out of clone time just running around with windrun. With blink I get almost all of my clone's duration to hit the enemy with, plus I can position awkward angles with it. Of course blink offers little defensive positioning, but I tend to make up for it by being defensive with my main, jumping in last second when needed to clean up
