u almost have to play him safelane
yes he is trash vs almost every single meta mid hero
2) battlefury is viable imo
3) u dont build him for the middle lane, u build him for the safelane, probably take an earlier concoction value point in the safelane to help kill offlaner with ur support
4) dogshit hero out of meta
Play him safelane if you're pressured a lot just go jungle as soon as you get your soulring. I think the best build for it is going Battlefury, Armlet, SNY+ Blink/ Shadowblade.
After that you should be really strong in the fights because you can get these items pretty early so try to fight whenever your ult is up. If you feel like you need it for fights get BKB/AC. If not start building aghs for your teammates.
I would say alch Is viable mid only in 2v1 or 3v2 scenario with supports like Sky, ogre, tusk,ss etc. To allow you some early farm.
Bad matchup... Any ranger hero except TA And invoker. And even invoker can kill you easily with support rotation.
BF is ok against tankier lineups, with less disables, where you Will be able to rightclick.
Build based on lineups...
If you need to soak up dmg, early pt and armlet Is way to go.
If you need Escape/iniciation sb into Silver edge or dagger.
After it Manta if There Are silences/athoses, otherwise say...
alchemist lacks essential abilities/stats in every role you could play him
probably best as a pos1 right now, but you need to spend 3+ slots for armor and mobility
battlefury is fine imo. armlet does alot for him, too.
i'd always get a casual or solar crest early. or both items. blink / sb on top and you can fight. right after the first fight you fall off and loose
I tried to make the hero work in safelane buiding bfury and it has some potential but tbh the laning is so shit and later on vessel just removes you from the game.
in case anyone is wondering the one closer to my comment is jacked, the other one isnt

He is sitting on very low winrate,ppl play him often as support as well but i wondering about typical mid Alch.
1) vs what heroes you going to have bad match up (dont say all mid heroes pls)
2)Battlefury + cleave talent good?
3)What would you build on him now for middle lane build?
4)hes not high skill cap hero still super low winrate why?Just dogshit hero out of meta?
