even lycan involves using helm creeps and microing so u dont block urself with ur own minions, and using necronomicon purge and shit

i mean if ure good at micro ure supposed to have that kind of winrate arent u?
in reality you being good at micro on micro heroes should net you 50% win rate in the highest skill bracket, being bad should make it 35% or somethng.
Lycan has the easiest micro of all mutli-unit heroes. Only one spell on necro archer and, in some cases, 1-2 spells on a jungle creep. Plus all of this shit moving like wannabe race-cars and most of the time just right-clicking with the hero. And don't pretend that "uuh u need to scout with each wolf and always get creeps with spells", the majority of lycan players don't do that at all.
lycan has high winrate because even in 7-8k games people dont have the coordination and decision making to deal with splitpush. in tournaments this hero is pickable, but definitely not op or anything. annoying to play against =/= OP
its not super hard micro, but knowing the micro definitely sets you apart from the rest, especially purging ghost scepters and such
^u can easily lose many kills if u can't purge ghost scepter or use ur centaur or troll creep or if u block urself with your own wolves
Nope. Necro was insane both in pubs and competitively last patch. Lycan is stomping it out in pubs(60+% winrate above 5K or something), but he's not dominating the pro scene that much, if at all.
And he is a hero that relies on lack of coordination and solo winnin the game. So perfect for pubs.
How is a support purchasing ghost scepter or a hero with an escape running away an "unlikely scenario"
Lycan is only picked when he's in meta, so i dont mind it, I'll always use meta hero to learn them, by the time they are nerf time to learn a new meta one. Enjoy the ride, shit be over next patch then bye bye doggo

Pretty much sums up the current meta. A hero that requires no skill at all runs around the map hitting buildings until there are none to hit.
