If u really good dont want your profile to be found on dotabuff then change ur name to something no one will ever find, uncheck the box and play with normal name. So your dotabuff profile wont be found with your normal name.

idr when was the last time i tried to find someone basing on their name; it's significantly easier to do it using personal ID which can't be changed.
Your friend code will always be visible when you check someone's profile in dota regardless of their steam privacy settings so no.
can confirm, I don't know why anyone would search for the name if they have a number that is easy to copy

I tried unchecking "expose public match data" but my profile can still be found and past games can be seen. Google search yields basically nothing
