ppl are just going to list the stats drums gives u and tell u sf needs mana
he has a 60 ms talent people want to buy ms items
I get sny tho.
Also a lot of bottle skipping.
Idk I find the hero to be too Mana hungry to skip bootle
Is it only me or did Bottle become trash/obsolete for mids, but a decent thing to pick up in the offlane (just ward the bounty rune area and make sure to try to go for double runes and bottle up to full) now?
The last two SF games I played I regret not doing the Euls build. It pretty much insta kills any hero without an escape skill.
Drums still seem like shit to me, unless you're a really item independent support that wants a little extra teampush.
I don't hit 700 gpm on sf thus feel useless on magic sf
Like most of the guides have blink euls way earlier than when I get it
I think I need to stack and farm jungle more in the laning phase.
I'll watch some replays when I get back from vacation.
honestly there should be 1 drums in a team in an early game... so considering this sometimes drums sf is also fine
I mean I see it every single game regardless of magic or physical.
Is it to take the mid t1 faster?
Movement speed?
Hp?
All of the above probably.
TREAD SWITXHING AAAAAA
Isn't 10 clarities 500 gold? Shudnt u just pay 150 gold extra for the bottle?
Nah just buy raindrop stick aquila bottle like me and wonder what the fuck to sell at min 15
Drums are like Midas. You get them to make $$$ in the mid game then sell them for something better once the charges are done and you need the slot. Likely they're just being greedy, or otherwise think they can get a lot of ganks done in the mid game to justify the price. Drum stats benefit errybody.
Drums are so cheap now, that you can finish them before laning phase is even over, if you skip bottle. At that point you will be the strongest hero on the map, so you can basically do what you want with that information. Gank a lane, push a tower, farm the jungle. So I suppose it's the kickstart to staying ahead on levels and farm SF so badly depends upon.
yeah bottle seems weak now. Seems like more of a roamer item. I play mostly STR heroes so soul ring is ideal for me.
Sf in pro scene is very different than pub
Pros go sange yasha bkb butter satanic drums etc
While in pub treads lance shadpe blade blodthorn
In pro games SF has always been played around his ability to flash farm an item fast and then group with his team and push down the outer towers. This item has shifted according to what is strong, used to be mek, shifted to dlance, now it's drum. Also the added benefit is that with drum+aquila+occasional clarities you can skip bottle so you hit your power spike 660 gold faster which is about 1-2 minutes.
drums is bad item because u only use 5 times. attackspeed move speed for what? buy better item like sny euls
Cutnpaste god
It all makes sense now
EVERYTHING FITS
dude it's like a missing puzzle piece holy ass I get it now
Does this mean I shud only get it if I can get my team to group with me or no? I mean usually in the early game I can buy literally any item around it's cost and have the same effectiveness, whether it's drums or lance or yasha or a veil or whatever, what usually matters to me more is the mid to late game Itemization.
10 clarities is way more mana than bottle on-demand and u dont need to go out of ur way for runes
It's a good early game item generally. Yea so u won't be making the most out of drums like in pro games. Just like how 2k sf pubs should not get Mek. But getting drums is still better than mek. There's still good individual benefit.
I mean with drums sny you run with a casual 550 ms with a hit of a button if you feel the need to. Its extremely strong, you can outrun an invisible slark with 1hp and chase down anybody.
