I believe even though its stated party mmr cap increased, I believed it takes solo mmr into account as well, much like the previous effective mmr calculations. Otherwise you would have accounts that are boosted (or somewhat) for medals.

my solo mmr is 3.9 (legend [4]) and my party is 5.1
the question is, why my medal is still legend [4] even i win some party mmr? any solution or answer for this? should i win my solo until i up my medal and i can directly to ancient 5?
