This patch will be loved by people who blame their team and think they have been calibrated at an unfair mmr trench. It’ll bring back tons of 1k and 2k players but it’ll lose a lot of players who worked for their mmr. And there will be no reason for players to play till the next season starts.
Truth be told patch feels pretty terrible for 6- months of work.
A pretty good example of that is look at how many games the majority of the above players have.

Season mmr is better than this stale shit. Honestly. Those who worked for their mmr will keep on playing, trust me.
mmr system is more like an sc knockoff rather than league of lul. and also ranked system was maybe the only thing lul did better so now we are infinitely superior. and yea we get these "i quit this game cause of patch" and "we lol now" comments since 2013
ps im not saying i hated this mmr system, you can carry ur team wherever u want if u have the skill, but it was waaay too oversimlified. and what if u have 5k now? u get the equalent of 5k in these badges, u can still climb. dont understand this upset. also there is 5 star rapier which i guess is the equalent of 10k so we are not that far away from this system
Wait I don` understand now what is new mmr and how they will remove that? And what about medals, like that is new mmr?
Dota has the highest percentage of hypocritical player base:
a. They yell around for changes, but hate every small change that comes outta valve. (they only want select nerfs/buffs so their games get easier ).
b. They dont like the MMR system (believe they are highly under-calibrated). dont like changes to the MMR system. OR,They think they are too good, yet dont want to prove it twice a year. Wanna stay at their lucky/outdated calibrations forever without being tested.
c. Complain the game is stale, but dont want a thing to change.
d. Cry about level 25 talents, that they are OP. not realizing that they are at LEVEL 25. (so if supports get to level 25, the game has run too long and there has to be OP shit to stop the madness. )

ITS NOT THE GAME THAT"S GOT PROBLEMS. ITS YOU. (and trust me, if these guys leave, the way they threaten to, the game will be much better)

Okey guys, here is my tought about dota that the old players like +21 players should quit dota now when we had a chance. Its time to get a life. I actually cant take this new dota anymore. Im crying about MMR removed from dota. Sorry
