comeback mechanics seem down imo considering how easy it is to melt towers with this meteor shit and other crap like the ld buff
Yeah I think valve is trying to lower comebacks with the roshan refresher and no more shrines in base
that's a good point, but it seems like it goes both ways, some things make comeback mechanics way more pronounced (when you have been behind for a good part of the game but you have a talent that counters the enemy team), while at the same time you can glyph the fucking creeps and push with aegis + cheese + refresher on your initiator or some shit
I am actually confused at what the aim is right now
More items to hit towers, but more HP and armour for towers - also allowing Pipe to protect buildings.
Seems like they kept that stuff in mind in an attempt to maintain balance.

It looks like the game is going to become way more flashy graphics-wise, people will be disabled for less time in general, comeback mechanics seem to be amplified by some insane talents, regen is more readily available so there'll be more action and less heroes healing mana/hp, and there is more insanely OP shit all around spanning as many heroes as possible.
Valve is obviously trying to make tournaments being more exciting to watch in order to attract a greater deal of audience, but I feel like they are shooting themselves in the foot by adding even more complex mechanics that will each have their own quirks.
