If you want to use your money just to show off on a video game it's your problem (well it's also the problem of the people that will end up playing with you).
I don't really see the interest, Ok you have a high mmr to show everyone... But it will take just one match to know how bad you are at the game.
To me it's like watching a big fat kid eating burgers, he looks happy but you know he will die from overweight before losing his milkteeth
