It's a scam I'll have to take, 1070 is over 1.5 year old, can't afford 1080 or 1080ti, 1070ti seems good.
I only payed $CD 599 for early purchase. Price of all other previously released cards all raised for quite a lot, asus strix 1070 is only $20 cheaper.
It's a terrible time to buy a card right now due to mining. All cards are up like 10-20% over list price. Plus you can play dota2 at 1080 60hz with a 5-6 year old mid range card like a gtx 460 or an amd 6850. Heck I think my brother used to play when it first came out with a 9800 gt, that's like a 10 year old card (though this was in ~2012).
