he has fallen out of favor because the green meta shithead heroes don't need an ogre
also lich might not cancel a TP or take a ton of harass but he wins every lane
ogre early game is too goood... and with a tiny or sven scales insanely into late... also stun is really usefull in teamfights... at my mmr i wud pick ogre over litch 95% games...
that stun is the most useless thing in any teamfight
you need to die to use it unless you have extended range on it and even then it has a retarded long cast animation
30 seconds is long enough. with level 2 multicast you can keep it up on 3 people. with level 3 its even easier. but yeah i look at ice armor and bloodlust and ice armor just seems better with more utility and more power early.

lich/ns with arcane is stupid, while ogre not, lich is defensive buff and no stun, Ns provides vision, slow, silences and no buff with limited mana early game and nearly unreliable unless night, and many more, item choices, it all depends.

If your hero requires your cores to pick around your pick then it's probably a bad support pick tbh.

The key strength is that everyone will have to stay together for this to work :D and if they jump supports first the ult of omni will give 5 sec for huskar to feed on enemies while lich ulty flying around :D damn i wanna try that

i mean five manning early is okay if the enemy has no wave clear and all but it is a serious flaw if you don't rax them 15 minutes in
u wud need dazzle or oracle for that strat to be remotely possible, even then, something as simple as global into blink call blademail dunk works to counter this
any sort of big teamfight disable counters this, cuz if everyone is stunned then no one can save huskar, and if huskar dies then u lose the fight
either way huskar works in many ways by being the front liner, attention attracter hero to take flak from the other carry
even if huskar dies he takes a lot to kill and he deals a lot in return, usually this is enough for ur team to clean the fight
if they cant burst huskar in the initiation he completely shits on people, but this doesnt require more than 1 other hero to help him aka dazz or oracle
its just stupid and pointless to devote 4 heroes when only 1 is needed, and to also take away another carry when huskar kinda needs someone else either better in the lategame than him or someone who can stay back and deal dmg while he is disabled.
people always tell me to bkb on huskar, and while its good, i dont always mind being disabled if i cant die and my team cleans em up
thing is in pubs they will often let me down, in which case i do need bkb
however imo in an ideal environment u wud never buy bkb on huskar unless its an hour+ games and u need to hit buildings
^yes but huskar is a hero that benefits from attracting attention, wants slots for other things, and has a skill that mitigates magic dmg
its not like an ursa bkb who already has a kit with no need of big item supplements besides mobility (blink), and occasionally disable (basher/diffusal), and doesnt need any extra slots
huskar wants a lifesteal/satanic slot, an armor slot, a halberd slot, an armlet slot, and it leaves him with one other extra slot left, which he wants for either late bkb, the situational mkb, linkens against shit like duel, maybe pike
his one slot is even then taken up by other things
huskar does not necessarily need an armor slot, armlet is pretty good and combined with halberd the enemy carry should not be doing much physical damage at all
also, I do not know why you have a dazzle omni or oracle on your team if physical damage can still kill you easily, weave is really good with huskar, omni has GA and oracle can keep you at 10% hp and hitting like a madman, just so you are at full hp after his ult ends
of course, when the game goes later you will want an AC, but it is not something you get that early, you get BKB before that in pretty much every game

i feel ogre is the best support.. needs zero farm.. very tanky at lane... share ur thoughts ppl...
