Manta > SnY on TB almost 99% of the time. You get tankiness from your eventual Skadi and you get damage from your Metamorphosis. And Dispel is one of the best features in the game for a fragile carry, especially one with impactful skills.
Well I don't have many games with tb but I have a 100% win rate with him since I started playing him so I can vouch he wins games . I'll need to play more games before giving advice though sorry .

Just control your illu properly to farm the lane once you can jungle (usually once you have treads pms aquila quelling)
Positioning problems? Just know where to be in teamfights lmao you'll know how sooner or later with experience
ive started playing this hero a lot more recently so far 75% wr and what I've found is that the build your going on him doesnt work that well, i used to go treads aquila dragon lance but honestly dragon lance doesnt help at all for farming which is what you need to do to win lower level pub games. Just rush manta into pike, skadi, butter, or bkb. you should have treads aquila manta by 18 and from there you can choose to show up to a fight or not. One of the most important things ive found with this hero is that if you lose the first fight you show up to is that youll likely lose the game because what you get off of 1 won team fight is massive advantage i terms of objectives since your hero pushes so fast. most of my recent games my team has been losing the game and then i show up to 1 fight press E W Q and win the game off that 1 fight going well. farm and push lanes show up to a fight with massive farm advantage then transition into 1 or more objectives, but thats also just how dota should be played.
The main question - do you want to play mid or carry TB? They have totally different playstyles.
I almost felt disrespected by the am in this match I already had picked tb which wrecks pa and ta then he goes and picks an am which tb wrecks as well .

watching pro plays doesnt give you so good advantage, since you are fuckin 3k, you cant do what they do anyway.
And since you dont have skill, you need experience, just play the hero.
