You get xp from any kill you make, regardless the distance. Doesn't apply to assists.
Your clone doesn't gain xp in any form.
Midas will always give you xp (same with Lone Druid).

I know I get full xp from midas. He doesn't get from creeps. I've noticed that he gets xp from kills, but I'm not sure about assists. Also - if my main hero & clone are in the xp range of the kill, do I get double xp?
