        if youre 3.5 k "carry only" and you dont know how to deaggro smth is very very wrong

          Just a note, it only works if your hero is in attack range of the creep you a-click. So If you're a melee hero you have to walk all the way to the nearest allied creep before the agro will switch.

            no you don't, aggro is global

              you do need a creep closer to the tower than you or attacking the tower right? Otherwise it'll just reacquire you.

              What I'm not sure of, let's say there's a ranged creep and a catapult behind you hitting the tower, you a click them to drop aggro, will the tower keep hitting you cus you're closest or switch to them?

              Same scenario but there's an enemy creep wave so your creeps are hitting enemy wave and not hitting the tower I'm sure the tower would reacquire you.

                    melee creep aggro range is 500
                    ranged creep aggro range is 800
                    i think catapult is also 800 iirc
                    u can activate console, go to a lobby with cheat on, then choose this command on console to show the range u want around ur hero:
                    dota_disable_range_finder 0 (change 0 to the desired number)

                    aggro cd is 2.5 or 3 secs meaning every creep on the map checks if u are attack enemy hero every moment, as soon as u do the ones that are in aggro range come toward u. when this happens a cooldown starts in which no creeps check for aggro.

                    creeps only get aggroed if they are :1. in aggro range of u and 2. they have vision of u
                    u can use this trick to see if the enemy midlaner has vision of ur side of the map aka warded the hill. stand further from ur range creep on the high ground in aggro range of melee creeps, a click the enemy midlaner, if they get drawn to u it means enemy has vision.

                    also u can abuse the aggro cooldown by using it once and repositioning so that the enemy creeps dont hit u then u have a 2.5 sec window of attacking enemy without drawing aggro. with ranged heroes or fast melee heroes (like phase boot jug) u can also attack the enemy hero outside of creeps aggro range and then use ur phase boot or just walk there in less than 2.5 secs and u will attack without drawing aggro until the 2.5 sec ends and aggro cd is off.

                          Yeah i learnt it from bsj pull at 53 video when i was looking at information about pulling, creep agro and creep equilibrium.
                          He said a trick you can use when you need to pull agro to your ranged unit but the offlaner isnt showing is you can a click enemy heros in other lanes and as long as you are within range of the creeps you want to agro it will work.
