My go-to quickbuy to save that unreliable gold so I can tell myself "it's okay i lost no gold"

never or against phoenix

buying a 1.5k gold item 95% of heroes never need to not lose 100g on death

I guess drums is only viable on position 4 now and/or plus incasse you have a pushing line-up -> DK/Pugna and you want to end before 30 mins.

i buy it only on spirit breaker. and even then only if the game is a total stomp and we go high ground at 20 minutes, so that we can actually destroy the tower with the active since carries dont have much farm

Maybe on NP for the added tankiness and boost to tower pushing? It's really not very good any more.

drums is a pretty shit item

Drums is fucking shit if you don't need everything it offers. If you need SOMETHING off of it, but not ALL of it, there is a better item out there.
