the population seems to have declined. I constantly get matches with 3.7k and 5k+ in 4.1-4.5 average. it's bullshit since 5ks dont care and 3ks only play cores -_-'

Well for me its actually going to be extra fun bcoz of my winning streak. I dont even understand why people is sayimg tha dota 2 is dying. Well that is in my perspective bcoz everybody in my friends is now really into dota, my friend got his mmr,(iam jealous) my other friend is getting better. Theres no way that this shit is gonna die. May be in your place,town,etc its dying, but in here its not. (And we actually managed to teach a GIRL to play dota xD)
While your personal perspective can change your view on the topic, fact is that the population is getting lower every day, and it's in direct correlation with the fact that it's been one of the longest time in the history of DotA without any major patches - if you think about it, most version after 7.00 weren't really major patches themselves, so the game is gettin incredibly stale.
And yes, that doesn't mean people can't come up with new, efficient ways that are valid in the current meta, because that's happening still, but it means that the chances that you get to experience some unexpected thrill while playing, or just watching pro games are lower now than ever.
Of course it's not over, and most likely it won't be over, but you can't argue the facts that the active player numbers are getting lower and lower, or write it off as if it didn't mean anything.
With the new patch kicking online, there will probably be a rise in numbers, but if the wait time between major patches is gonna be as long as now, the developers keep refusing to communicate towards the playerbase, and with the hype for Majors pretty much gone with the new system, I think it's more than just assumption to say that the game is gonna be less and less prominent.
Find match now takes about 5 minuted for me and i match with same peoples next game i play. Dota 2 will die soon. Sell your items now in market so you can buy other major games before its too late
Well I don't think the game is dying. It is SUFFERING majorly because of toxic fuckwits who don't want to play the game properly.
I got moaned at the entire game for picking the only support hero in my last game. The rest where carries only 2 knew what they were doing. I got flamed for actually picking the only support hero!
Another game i got reported for picking a support hero and was called dumb and blamed for the loss for picking lion against wind and weaver.
Seriously like. The only way to fix this game is to punish those with certain stats and those stats would resemble a toxic fuckwit who flames in chat and has no interest in play a TEAM game!
I just gave up on my climbing. It felt rly hard to me. I didnt mention the game its environments. I used to play on ccs. Fucking kids yelling like idiots, guys smoking next to me or smoking from outside still smells. Im done with playing in cc. Cuz there is a majority of retarded ppl around here. And i need to at least 15 min to get in cc. And i cant play this w/ fucking toxic mates bored and hated insta lock cores that doing shit and force me to play support. Espieclly fucking indogs. Fuck u indogs
Behaviour score matters, if it's low you will be teamed up with people who constantly flame, I rarely get intentional throwers and feeders these days. Staying positive and not giving up is the only way to win this game!

Try some silly plays with your friends (all blue heroes team for example) so u can get a good laugh after you lost or somethin
