dont morph into agi that much unless you know iceblast is down.
i'd probably ask my sup to forcestaff me out in case they see it coming, or buy hurricane pike early

dodge the iceblast with waveform, if the enemy is heavy on CC and setup for the blast, start morphing strength as soon as you get stunned, then stop morphing if you get hit, then retreat if possible

Btw, when was the mechanic of Manta dispelling Ice Blast's effect removed? I remember playing a game as AA, long ago, where the enemy Alchemist went first item Manta instead of Armlet or Radiance and countered my counter pick easily. I know this was long ago, but just curious...

since when did ice blast can be dispel?

you still cant morph str, bkb does not make you immune to damage

If you morph strength under ice blast, you can easily shatter because you cannot gain any HP, but you are changing your percentage of HP, if you have 1000 hp, and you manage to reach 200hp, it'll take only a few seconds of strength morphing to get into the deadly 10-12% range.

So whatever you do, just don't morph strength if you are in any danger (or even if you are not, don't GET into danger like an idiot).

Ethereal blade plus adaptive strike deals a large burst of magical damage, easily capable of destroying squishy support heroes in a matter of 1 second. Waveform and a potential blink dagger also render you capable of jumping straight towards the backline in order to use this devastating combo on the unsuspecting support.

AA is preetty much the only support in the game you can't do this consistently against, if he's smart he won't come even close to your initiation range. AA's ult is global, and he needs to move just a bit outside of the danger zone (after you have committed ethereal already) to cast his other spells from so far that you won't even have vision of him at night.

I mean, have you ever checked AA's range on spells? Besides his ult being global, he's basically a sniper amongst supports, all his spells have a retarded range and with an aether lens it gets even more ridiculous, as long as he has vision of morphling he's very likely to never be his target if the player is good.
