The Waffles Dota League is a monthly recurring individual league hosted on IXDL. The league will start on the first day of every month, and end on the last day of the month. Players in the league will play 5v5 Captain Mode lobby games in order to win and gain points. The Top 3 players with the most points at the end of the month will win Steam Gift Cards!
First place: USD50 Steam Gift Card
Second place: USD20 Steam Gift Card
Third place: USD10 Steam Gift Card
All league games will be featured within the Dota 2 client itself, under the Tournaments tab. All games broadcasted to DotaTV will have a 10 second delay.
Waffles Dota League will be free to watch for all.
You can play league games at any time, any day, throughout the month. As long as you can find players to play with, you'll be able to start a game and the host bot will host it for you within the client.
There is NO MMR restrictions, players will be placed according to ratings, which works like MMR in the sense that a higher rated player will win less points and lose more points if playing against a lower rated player, and vice versa.
