I try to counterpick even if I've never played the hero before since I'm trying out new heroes and also half the time I don't counterpick I somehow end up picking right into 3 counters T - T
who on earth cares about counter picking, just master your hero and let your enemy counter you
a player that masters his hero, example me, can play against 3-4 counters and destroy them.

heres "enhanced" counterpicking
know like 7 heroes well
pick the one that is best against enemy heroes and fits ur draft
enjoy winning a lot, dont just lock nyx because they have od if u cantplay nyx
exception, silencer should always be locked against enigma immediately so they cant get it next phase, you can swap if you have to but silencers kinda braindead anyway just SAVE ULT FOR BLACK HOL

Do you counterpick with heroes you have no idea how to play? I.e. you counterpick just because you think you're gonna win, because, duh, that's the hero counter, even though you may have 5 games on that hero or you may have a winrate akin to 40%.
