you can't play it smoothly, because your cpu is total garbage, better save way more and buy a whole new computer, maybe even used, if you're really short on money, it will be much better. It's really pointless to buy a new graphics card for you right now, unless you're planning to upgrade your whole computer in the near future, because it will be held back by your cpu so badly. Dunno look at some used market and buy some 40$ graphics card like GTX 750 TI or something, it will be way more than enough anyway.

what graphics card can i add to my old desktop to run dota 2 smoothly?
specs:
Processor Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5800 @ 3.20GHz
Memory (RAM) 2.00 GB
Graphics Intel(R) G41 Express Chipset
currently, i can still run dota 2 in low setting and it can only handle 10-20 fps.
