does it have anything to do with the fact that i get matched up with smurfs all the time in normal? Also i have only 25 games on him atm
Not really tbh. In the game I couldnt finish today, I had a guy with 95 MMR on my team and a guy with 4.1 on the other.
I play a lot of unranked with friends who dont like ranked and It ALWAYS a stomp one way or the other. I have a 60% win rate in unranked because I feel like most of the time its me and my friends stomping new players. I'm aware my 3k isnt a super high mmr but usually unranked is pretty easy. It can go the other way too though, they can end up on your team and you literally have to 1v5 which is annoying. Its a roll of the dice. Ranked I feel like every second game there is some level 20 profiles with a 40% winrate auto picking mid and safe or jungling and losing the game. Between the purchased/new accounts and unranked gong shows I honestly think match making is in a terrible state right now and it makes me not want to play at all. I really think they need to start factoring in profile levels/games played or at least make it an option like solo queue is.
I don't really play unranked but when i do its a lot like the above^ stomp or get stomped. Normal games still have hidden mmr, so the people who play normal either havent played normal in a long time (or not as often) and have improved a lot since then. And their hidden mmr never changed.
Regarding the new accounts, i cant really say much.

I think if u haven't played unranked inawhile this may happen.
Or sometimes at your level is hard to find 5ks playing unranked. So a lot of disgruntled 4ks probably.
I noticed when smurfing usually u get matched with other new accounts but some games there's one or two high level guys thrown in the mix for some reason

but my unranked games are pretty normal, *excluding that everyone is trash*
Games are imbalanced because there aren't many people above 5k, let alone 6k or 7k who play unranked.
It's one of the downsides of fracturing the playerbase, but some people just want to "play for fun" so it's a necessary evil.

I remember doing doing solo unranked long time ago on my account.
So many players don't giving a fuck about builds or pushing towers or whatever...
These days are gone.
Partially because I'm a supreme tilter and trash.
Unranked is either smurfs with random MMR variation (though they mostly seem to be 4k's and 5k's who are delusional and think they're "stuck") or scrubs who stopped playing ranked because [reasons].
The game quality is lower, but it's a good environment to test out builds and heroes you're not used to. I'm just smurfing Waga-style.
yes as u get high mmr unrank games are half and half, 50% "high" mmr players who might suck anyway and 50% low lvl accounts who are trying to recal because they suck dick or 1/100 might be good
Also, u can predict with 90% precision when the game is going to be an auto-loss/auto-win, depending on the usernames of ur allies/enemies. If someone has a username like xx_naruto_XX or is a miracle- wannabe, you can expect that person to be a huge retard and autist.
You need to keep your standards low and you won't get angry at factors beyond your control.
@ich bin I can play with friends but the point is i usually play normal (solo) for practice, but it makes totally no sense to practice in 5 smurf cores vs 5 smurf cores. So I guess this is why people smurf and go ranked in another account

I have 2k games and 5k mmr but when I play unranked 60% or more of the account are level 1 to 10. Ofc they all pick cores and leave if they dont pick their role. The result is an unbalanced game where is impossible to have fun (doesn't matter if you win or you lose). Anyone experiencing the same?
