Punishment for Feeders? in General Discussion

Make the punishment more severe for intentional feeders, its like every 1/20 games there is an intentional feeder, i just abandoned a match wherein shaman intentionally fed when invoker missed 3 sunstrikes, even though shaman used shackles. Do u think that a week ban is a more suitable punishment?

How did you differentiate between intentional feeders and those simply having awful positioning, thus died multiple times picked off?
I talking about myself here. Died multiple times in a row due to poor positioning and map awareness, then tilted and died again and again. I didn't intentionally feed, but teammates blame me for intentionally feeds enemies

Also, just move on to your next games. I rarely ever found any intentional feeders in my game. Maybe perhaps about 1 in 100 or 200 games? Make excuse for them, maybe they are simply bad at their game. It will make your mind at peace at least

And when it happen, just laugh it off lol

Im referring to those who intentionally feed, by going to enemy base and feeding couriers, dropping wards etc

        Väinämöinen

player named pro feeder: "didnt feed intentionally but team accused me of feeding"

yeah maybe with that name thats a conclusion people make

So I could laugh it off when they blame me, and maybe throwing friendly banter so they tilt less. Joking about yourself is better than joking about others. At least you know the laughed object consent

            And it worked out somehow

I understand that some people cant stop themselves from feeding because they lack game knowledge, like the carries and offlaners i had played with, even though i said that the enemies used sod, and all enemies are missing, they still kept on farming at lane, so they ended up dying and dying over again cause they always go deep into the enemy base, yes that type of feeding is still forgivable since u can't blame them for being noob and they are still trying to improve. BUT intentional feeders are the worst, they dont feed because they suck, they feed cause they are toxic

intentional feeders will get into LPQ if that's really what they are doing regularly so who cares

                    Yeah please punish international feeders

u dont know how u feel when u gank enemy 24/7 and your carry have free farm still ended with 50 min six slotted
before 7.06 i always feed if my team pick am lol

So basically when someone starts to intentionally feed i will just abandon so that my other teammates can also leave the game, then we will all report that feeder, cause is dota fun when someone intentionally feeds?

                          muki

I'd agree. But the issue is how to develop a system that accurately distinguishes between intentional griefing and merely playing bad to avoid over-punishing bad players (false positives). That would need some pretty advanced behavior pattern AI. I work in software/game development and even I wouldn't know where to start in developing that.

And having valve/steam staff view even a minute of every reported replay is unrealistic. The number of dodgy games must be in the tens of thousands per day.

no no no no no need to punish intent feed, just report them and send it to lp
