Hard carry still played from safelane tho and easier access to camps means that they still farm more
just pick a mid who can get all the farm that the lane can offer. i think its part of why vipers good
its definitely why i like tinker in this patch, although his winrate in 5k is subpar
slark is good mid hero from what i can see he gets lvl6 as fast as possible, treade + aq + pms and he can proceed to gank and start picking off then shadow blade comes.....
but slark is so bad right now nerf after nerf after nerf made him useless and so weak at lane before he can get the ulty passive
slark already suffers a lot from pressure. he doesnt win a lane unless someone takes a really weird hp trade, plus he can escape ganks but is completely fucked if he gets camped by swm/es type hero
and if slark loses his lane its really hard to recover the game, especially beacause ur playing against some monster 100+ cs sf or ta or viper or whatever
Slark is a horrible mid, cuz he cant sustain his own wave clear, and isnt a strong laner, he can trade well but is very squishy and melee.
in my last game i had a lvl 2 smurf slark mid on opposing team. needless to say that we stomped them and he abandoned kappa
Positions determine farming priority, and farming priority hasn't changed. And carries come in all shapes and sizes. Fast picking like Blood seeker or Razor or slow picking like Anti-mage or Spectre, they are all carry.

I think many of us agree that since last changes mid is pos 1 more instead of previously carry. Moreover carry's been less effective recent patches due to many reasons
