i used to play with a 7k wisp mid spammer and it was pretty legit. sometimes everyone goes hurr durr lmao 2k strat but lol it can also work if you have the appropriate skill and knowledge on how to play an unorthodox way. i'm sure jungle io can be viable with some tweaks to itemization and your teams lineup
Lul i creating io posts but everytime bit different and a read everything here everyday so sometimes i just feel to post (when i see all the s.hit lul) also i have been research for io players many times with no response,i saw many games from guardian,crit etc there is a quite few players in high mmr who play him but each player have real own style (even pos 2-5)if i not count profesional games when they lately went to jungle get one small item and work for team this is not really work at lower brackets,(dont ask me reason you already know that)
im not get the smaller item as urn is,i rush veil every game in jungle,which make io real hero with 12armor on lvl 10,plenty magic dmg to kill any hero in game (not solo youre wisp)so i found my way how to play him there.
Now the main reason why im not playing mid is couse it just could quite offten ruin game,ppl just never bealive this could work and asking my team for trust every game is very annoying.
But be sure WISP can be legit mid ask any of a good wisp player.

I tried everything with this hero and i found him as excellent ganker the role of io which literally no one else do,ofc its meme but his first ability make you be anywhere in 1900 radius if is there your teammate,this is actually absolutely insanely strong if you think that hero can do much more than just healing,im not talking yet about io ulti which is even more crazy,ppl think io is weak in pubs and no one exploring this hero potencional.I found my own way to play him i getting tons of shit talk before every game and comends with fascination in the end,thats only couse they never seen that before.
Now i going for 6 weeks holidays and i will miss my arcana io so much so i had to share that.
Btw that io arcana sound when you get kill is best thing in dota.
