How about ganking him in the early game? if he gets shut down early, it would give space to your team, as his astral has long cd at lvl 1 and 2
His biggest problems r disables that pierce bkb, silence, and evasion/any way to prevent him attacking or manfighting
Nyx, silencer, halberd, hex, axe, even attack speed slows work well like pheonix etc. Basically buy blink abyssal or blink hex on ur carries and just aim to initiate on od and kill him first cuz he isnt that tanky unless farmed and he needs to be removed early or sanities will destroy u. Also u can shut him down early on with ganks or very strong laners

When he is near illusions, his passive does not work when he uses arcane orb, making phantom lancer extremely good against him.

I always have so much problems with that hero on the other team. He takes a significant amount of playing around and if it's a last pick and you dont have silences and stuns you are pretty much just banking on him fucking up to end the game. Any cookie-cutter solutions to deal with that shitty hero?
