1) If you're playing against omni, you're probably getting it no matter what because both repel and GA fuck you over to some degree, even Degen Aura does, while you're not the slowest hero in the game, it certainly limits your chase potential, so Diffusal could be good for the slow as well
2) Actually considering the heroes popular right now it doesn't sound too shabby, since there's a lot of really good shit to dispel, but it's not all about Diffusal, you need to wonder when you're getting it and how you solve your problems before that, OD has to solve mobility, needs to improve his mana pool a bit first, may need a bkb, etc, so while it looks good on paper, you always need to take into the consideration what else you need because 3.1k gold is actually plenty
3) I think the synergy between first reducing the mana pool and then removing it with diffusal completely is actually quite decent, actually

But I really theory-crafted this before, it's just in-game I realised I need Pike and Blink too much and by the time I get a fourth item, a Hex or Moon Shard is more convenient but hey look at my OD winrate xD
Also Atos is better than before so this idea is legit but no good.
