a big reason is the change to jungle camps and the respawn timer that hurt the stacking that sven used to get ahead.
Helm of dominator hurts him a lot cus you need it to stack for yourself and you still need lifesteal so what to do? Casual morbid and helm? Sounds awful.
Without those stacks he farms pretty average compared to most carries. He can still cleanup in a team fight but ranged heroes hurt him a lot.
