Have not seen an Arc Warden go necrobook in a long while. Or just anybody going necrobook in general.
go for aquila - midas - boots - maelstorm - shadowblade - bots and situational (mjolnir prob)
like you do need some form of mobility/ escape because hes a slowass hero 285 ms and shit armor so you wont be tanking anything anytime soon
i prefer sb/silveredge and i have it core but yeah pike or sb is needed in your build somewhere
its about the dragon lance (very nice stats, enables you to push towers safer) and once you upgraded it into hurricane pike, you have 2 mobility tools both usable on the main hero.
Furthermore i think necrobook is a niche item nowadays, lvl 20 talent -10% cd +octarine core means only like 8 seconds without tempest and thus always a 6v5 for your team (so better make your tempest strong, thats why pros like the sb/mjolnir and upgrade both).

I play as him almost 200 games and I have never build Pike even Force Staff. So I don't know why it's popular and pro guaranteed that it's gainful.
After 7.00 I haven't build Midas as 1st item anymore. I build Aquila ring then follow with Midas and I still build Necro in case I fight with uncontrollable group attack like Medusa or solo pusher like Tinker, not only reveals invisible enemy.
How about attack, I can play any role or attack as him based on my emotion.
