Pudge fit himself into pos 4 in the current meta. Pos 3 just not reliable on him since pudge doesn't really require any items to roam/initiate. Pudge can be a good pos 4 support that helped the team to lock down the enemy with bkb popped out. And so far, it seems like pos 4 is the only position well fits for him.

I think the fact that Dendi playing mid pudge so much making every pudge picker in my bracket go mid really frustrates me. I can't even begin to explain how game ruining that is. Not to mention the fact that these don't even buy the right items, don't last hit creeps in lane and just wait back trying to hook the enemy midlaner. Then they wait for their 6, and go roam while the enemy mid is free farming and pushing down our mid tower. Like, what the fuck!?
Well thats just 2k being 2k
I got dual jungle both rushing midas and got it in min 15 and proceed to eat space in a 3.5k avg game
If that shit still happens in 3k let alone 2k

I made a similar topic awhile ago and didn't really get any answers, just a few people saying he is unpicked. But I noticed that his pick rate is rather high even in the 5k+ bracket, so he is definitely getting picked at least a little bit. Is this because there are also dumb first pick pudge spammers in 5k just like in 2k and 3k?
Seriously though, how is he played? I feel like this hero has changed a bit. I used to spam him all the time but stopped after not playing so much. Do people ever play him or offlane still? Or is it just a lane support/roam type thing? I love this hero so much, just feel like he is less viable and my skill with him has dropped a lot.
