if miracle builds force staff on ember it's meta, if a noob does it's shitty 2k lul the true meaning of meta is long gone (or exists in LoL) since you build your items/pick your heroes according to the other 9 anyways. you can argue with me that what do i know as 3k but a "meta" pick like jugger or lifestealer will still get rekt by a "non-meta" magnus or terrorblade

I quit dota for about 2 months the first part of 2017, and only played whenever some chick wanted me to party up, other than that no dota at all. I tilted to like 3.6 (Same as you) in December, then after a week and a half i'm back to 4.3 playing a big variety of heroes now, especially one's i'm bad with. Didn't even need to use my best heroes. So you can probably do it, I believe ya.
