      ^I been to this things before,Online searching for answer to solve...didn't work. sent a latter to Valve and done suggestions that they gave me.....didn't work.

      Until another patchs come it auto solve after update

        Just restart steam. It happens sometimes. (Make sure you check the app is completely closed in task manager, sometimes it lingers)

        If that doesn't work restart your PC, something might be acting strange and stopping VAC.

          Yeah had the same shit, restarting steam fixed it.

            Restart steam, not sure why this happens but it does sometimes

              @MARLAN you're right.. i already restarted steam many times but to no avail.

              had to manually close it in the task manager and it already worked

                right click on dota 2 > properties > local files > verify integrity of game files.
                w8 till it ends
                it worked for 2-3 friends of mine

                  you gotta kill that steam process yo! Sometimes people report reinstalling steam too if things get real crazy
