Actually, since the cap has been lowered, I think raising MMR in 3.0-4.0k will be alot more difficult. High MMR players who sell acc. or smurf often are now forced to calibrate extremely low, and often games will be way to one-sided. Not because of bad picks, or because there are players who deserve to lose (ie. a 2k mmr player in 3.3 mmr), but because a 5-7k mmr player is trashing 3.5 so he can get outta there.
I climbed from 2.9k to 4.2k over the past 2 years. There's way more account buyers and clueless retards at 4.2
I wish they would of put it at 3000. But I mean I can't complain because I'm too lazy to play ranked. Maybe I'll start trying again in the summer <.<

i think they just need to UNseperate solo and party MMR so people would play with their teams and stop blaming everyone else....

They should clean it, reset or refresh it to shutdown all account buyers and throwers and retards and fvck it.

First: MMR calib cap is 3.5, therefore valve dota is saturating players, smurfers and new players on 1-3.5k average. My one friend 3k main recently made a smurf and playing in 2k average in his smurf. They are really pulling you down during your calibration.
Second: A lot of account buyers, even in 7k+ MMR has account buyers.
Third: Throwers in normal and ranked mm. You want win, you played well but some of your allies are throwing, like smash you to enemy heroes, tether you to enemy's fountain, etc.
These are my thoughts. I really hate the MMR system. Better reset the MMR in every 2 years or whatever. Fvck it.
