Heroes can become strong if all his counters are nerfed while he is untouched (indirect buff).
also if pickrate goes down, that means only good beastmaster players (like spammers) play him and winrate will go up. Also called inderect effect channeled through meta
If you see Beastmaster's worst versus list all of those heroes were wither unchanged or even buffed. I'd just like some deeper insight on this. Maybe splitpushing is better?

Splitpushers seem to be strong this meta. I.E buff to lycan and natures prophet. I've played both natures and lycan a lot recently and I have had a ton of success, aka MMR gain. Beastmaster is good this meta, becuase the heros in the meta rely on their abilities. Lina, cast moves for damage finish with attack speed given by Fiery Soul. Magnus need empower and RP. Take that away with a blink Roar initiation, and now you have the advantage in the game.
