You analyze his games. I think dotabuff gives you that privilege. He has improved map awareness, I guess. And he's mainly focused on objectives.
No. 7.00 Lycan was an actual beast. Lycan has been a shitty hero since introduction of 7.02, IMO. 1.9 agi gain became 1.0 agi gain. Howl cooldown and mana cost got nerfed...
With new Feral Impulse, which grants HP regen, made Lycan a better laner and you don't have to worry about summoned wolves. The hero can be played with Howl and Feral Impulse in laning stage and this made the hero way easy compared to his former self.
But no. His ulti crit gain won't make the hero competitive or great fighter. I'd like to add if you build Armlet on Lycan the hero can fight soo good, tho. Still it's no LS or Jugg.

Lycan is always a good team fight hero if enemies didn't have much AOE crow control.A +25dmg at level 10 is much better then the crit get increase,not to mention 1 agi gain really suck so hard while the hero already have low BAT

Someone have to open thread about this buffed wolf, he got good buff to his ulti, better crit on each level (160, 180, 200%)
In 7.03 he got Increased base Strength attribute strength from 22 to 25.
He is good fighter now so i mean we can pick him now not only couse split push, and thats a good thing. I felt that was a only his job before....

Its kinda big change, i would say the only big change after aegis since latest patch ussually adjust only talents.
