you should try not to pick jugg vs axe but if you get countered pick , try to go heavy stats items like skadi , satanic (i know it is not optimal but feeding is less optimal) and also try to rush vanguard after Aquila+phase since you will build abyssal anyway and you need to survive his initiation and ulti +Q him.

also if you can trust your support ask him to build euls asap to counter initiate axe if he jumps you.

I am a 2k scrub and playing against axe is a pain in the ass. But when you rush manta its actually pretty easy to manta dodge him.
Just practise a little, when you see him jump in and you hear the start of the call press the hotkey

Seriously though. It is really possible to dodge axe call even without anticipating it cuz of the cast point. do a reflex test warm up before every game and make sure u get less than 3ms responds times.

Axe is Jugg's hard counter. You're supposed to change up your all-guns blazing frontline playstyle if you want to survive against him.

Some people also complement this playstyle change with Silver Edge.

You can manta dodge that shit (but good luck with that) or what I do (not necessarily the best option but usually works for me) either manta off the hunger and run, omni him if he dives you, or get a difusal and use it on him and bounce or buy time for your team to get there. Just be careful not to omni him if he didnt use call already or else he will call and stop your omni.

Build more hp items and less dmg items. Skadi, abyssal.

i dont have problem with axe when i play jugg. u just need to let axe use call first before you hit him

i find silver edge to be a good counter. after yasha get se everytime you think hes intiating activate immediately. might take some practice and situation reading, but will pay off and is much more reliable than manta dodge

buy wards and you can get linken too for his ultimate so you can stay alive after calling and use your healing ward to survive

If you spin before he calls you the blademail won't do any damage. Silver Edge can reduce the amount of damage he reflects back onto you. Building less damage and more armor/lifesteal will help.

ah btw if you cant use manta then get silver edge just turn it on before he calls so he cant spin so you wont get any damage from his spins

Build more dmg on ur hero over attack speed as axe benefits from being attacked more, perhaps get a deso to get through the dmg but really if he's got blademail ur fucking anyways.
