idk abt spec, but am is already bad usually but sometimes good, and I don't think he is all that bad this patch. more and more split push, longer game time, etc.
Viable is not enough to describe it. They are the new meta. The fact that they come online or not depends on the enemy power spike and how well your team and enemy does. previously it was wise to pick early and mid game dominant heroes. Now it is wiser to pick mid and late game oriented ones.

Spec is always a solid pick in pub matches as long as there is a stable team to help you get through the laning phase. She's actually really dope at ganking early, but most hc players aren't ever aggresive until the 20/30 min mark.

Nerfs to Midas, AoE gold make the games seem a little longer. Is it enough to give AM and Spec the time they'd need to get online?
Are these early game nerfs also indirect nerfs to Jugg? Less reward for early pushing that is.
