Well u beat tb in one fight lategame he wont have meta for the next one
U beat spec one fight she wont have haunt for the next one
some core (void, sniper) u must burst down immediately to guarantee fight win
other like wk and dusa u kite until their team is dead because they are tanky and easiest to focus down 5v1
In ultra-lategame TB isn't as scary, once his meta is down he is very useless and you should have plenty of items to kite him. Also a lot of heroes with strong control abilities/teamfight start to really dominate lategame rather than classic carries because they cap out on slots and being able to stunlock somebody with no bb is actually gamewinning. Imo strongest ultra-lategame heroes are stuff like Enigma, voker, storm, magnus, tinker not stupid carries you can run circles around with 4 force staffs.
defensive items/lockdowns. euls, hex, force staff. basically tinker is the best core destroyer when faced 1v1 unless enemy has a bkb then at least you postponed some of his items to truly be full slotted

i wanted to ask, how do you in general beat cores like fully-slotted dusa/tb/am/spectre and such once the game reaches the point when they are at their strongest? (i know am is weak in the ultra-late so if you talk about him you can talk about his peak period)
