SEMI SUP- MK (tho u need to practice it first) , Spirit breaker (brain dead hero but effective for solo qs) ,
HARD SUPP, LICH, OGRE( i dunno but i think it's still good 5 manning is the way to win in solo q's if you can group up early).

^I think illusion-based heroes take too much time to get online since illusions in general was nerfed. IMO, when magnus is in the meta, illusion heroes are niche picksm
Meta is irrelevant, you need your personal "go to" heroes with your own itembuilds.
That said, I've been playing offlane Aba a year before he bacame "meta" with above average success.
You should have a hero pool, where you would always know what to build, what to do on the map and how to win in theory.
Find 2-3 heroes and grind them to 60%+ WR, all other theorycrafting and analysis is just pointless and stupid, IMO.
