Is it for those who haven't calibrated yet. Since i am level 15 and usually queue with 3k guys does that mean i cant calibrate 4k??
even if you still could you wouldnt be able to get anything above 3k buddy, sorry.
embrace the normal skill, try to improve, rather then trying to cheese calibrate to 4k

My logic comes from valves recent patch note statement that the calibration limit has been lowered and the fact that there has been no over 3.5k calibrations.
So either somehow back your claim up or disprove that there isn't a giant mars sized arterzy doll behind the sun :))
that only applies to smurfs (played less than 1k games) never heard valve said such statements ranked calibration capped 3.5k. LOL!

It means that maximum rank you can achieve after calibration is lowered...you can't get more than 3500 mmr after startin calibration. Not applied to unranked games. Ok, calibration itself is not capped but your starting mmr is. so you can reach higher mmr games during calibration, but still you will end up with lower mmr after calibration, as your starting point calibration. Dude, working atm, don't have time for bs.

p.s spooky starting mmr in calibration matches has always been your unranked mmr prior to the calibration.
so you will actually start at 5-6K if you belong there, but you'll instantly get adjusted to 3.5k in the next match.
same thing happened back when the limit was 4999, i had an account with first game 5.5k avg, then 2nd game drops me to mid 4k.
