Yeah you have a point, and i guess i just never saw him played. My point is I just wish he could be like the drow of 6.88 with a super high pick rate
He saw play in ti to counter that brief burst of huskar.
He is just a situational hero by nature, unless he becomes ridiculous he wont see too much play and is in a decent spot tbh.
@solstice he's not really an illusion hero or at least the illusion nerfs don't affect him - it's not like you build rad+octarine on him and send illusions off farming the map or split-pushing.
I think he is a great hero for lower skills, So easy to play.
People never expect a CK messing them up at minute 15 with armlet and ult.
As soon as i get armlet i call my team to invade jungle and force a teamfight. Have to keep pressure, he doesnt farm very well so you need hero kills mid game or you loose late game.
Easy because people always pick single target heros (which one do i duel???)
people just treat him as a greedy safelane carry that comes online at 30 minutes, when you should play him more around midgame teamfights and early kills
He actually seems really strong w so few items. Maybe his issue is he farms slow. But he can do well with a lot of
Kills. But then he is so ult dependent which is negative synergy to getting a lot of kills. Maybe reduce the cd on ult and he can become
Cancerous
Bring Mangoes and Clarities gank 24/7 with another support or alone if the target has no escape mechanism, if not you just lost.
Illusions were slightly overpowered last time, they just nerfed it into okay, and there were little buffs to compensate the loss too, such as they now benefit from raw attack speed and damage block, making a lot of items viable for illusionary heroes.
Silver Edge, Butterfly is now good on CK since the only thing his illusions cannot get from the items is damage, Talisman of Evasion got discounted too.
SnY!!! Hahahaha, idk why people disagree on this item, the movement speed makes you Ferrari, that feeling of running into enemy so recklessly for an R.Rift awwww so gooood idc about the effectiveness as long as I'm on full throttle.

I think chaos knight is an awesome hero but he seems to just not be used at all by just about anyone. What could they do to him that could put him as a main contender in the pro scene?
Edit: Looking at the pick/ win rate he consistently has above a 50% winrate in all mmr ranges but his highest pick rate is 8% in <2K mmr and 2% in >5k mmr
