i have an old hp pavillion notebook .. I dont even know how to check model no.
There is radeon sticker on it .. And i found amd catalyst centre which was not opening ... Now its gone
.Does my notebook have graphic card ? Cz nw i m not seeing any other drivers than intel ! I tried downloading amd graphics drivers but nothing happened ! Dedicated graphics memory is of intel only ..what should i do ? I want to play dota wothout fps drop :-(

Thermal pads replace thermal compound on most non cpu chips that require heatsink. Been that way for quite a while, and will show up on more computers other than the g6.
That's the most retarded shit i've heard in a while. Giving a GPU thermal pads instead of thermal compound is literally saying "Please kill your GPU".
Yeah, that's why graphics chip replacement / repair is prob the most common hardware job we get in laptops (other than dead hdd's)
You cannot repair a GPU. If it's dead only thing u can do is to replace it or heat it up so it breaks again after a couple of weeks, which is not a repair.

Let me give you some bonus:
Macbook 2011 model blocks its cooling intake completely, so that the coolers cannot blow air out because it can't suck any cool air on. Then made a heatsink that CPU and GPU share, GPU is getting WAY warmer than it's made to be. This designflaw made Apple call in all 2011 models and offer free repair / replacement due to the GPU getting killed all the time. This same issue happened in the 2008 and 2009 models.
Clevo has a long series from 2012 to 2015 building speakers into their notebook. So far so gud, only issue here is, ONKYO FORGOT TO PLACE A DAMN BOTTOM PLATE UNDER THE SPEAKERS. Meaning the speaker looses all bass and sounds tinny as fuck. They took literally 3 years to figure out how a speaker works and finally improved on this.
Gotta love people who design notebooks.

On a certain Dell series (can't remember which) about 50% of them left warehouse with the speakers unplugged XD.
Just recently had to replace a HDD on an HP laptop. Had to take entire laptop apart including removing the screen from the frame, just to get to the HDD. I would have fired the person who came up with that design.

Thankfully I got lucky with the Asus laptop i picked up years back in 2012. Knew practically nothing about computers then and my research didn't even scratch the surface.
Had no problems with it since and was able to upgrade HDD and RAM (not like a few of my friends who had soldered pieces lol)

Alright i've seen the most ridiculous and retarded fails on many notebooks designs and decisions but this shit takes the cake.
So APPARENTLY if you somehow have a HP pavilion G6 I'd STRONGLY recommend you to check out your GPU cooling. I have to repair a broken GPU, got new chip, ready to ball a new chip and what did i see? THEY FUCKED USED THERMAL PAD TO COOL THE GPU.
I literally cannot believe this shit. If you have a pavilion G6, or your parents, and u somewhat know how to open that shit, then i suggest u buy thermal compund and fix this ASAP. Because the GPU WILL die if you don't over time.
