You can probably build it before but I think that if you are picking AM you are committed to sacrificing the first 20 minutes of the match anyway so you may as well rush your BF. The creep doesn't keep up that well which is why I generally get ice ogre because it only needs to be near you once every 30 seconds or so but if you had really good micro I could imagine you doing shit on the other side of the map with your team using a more useful creep.

Whenever I see people suggest maelstrom I wonder if they ever play AM. I don't see how any build without serious mana regen can ever work on that hero.

some enemy luna farmed a super fast dom and had the ms creep follow a pudge around, it was pretty sick

purge creeps even better

you can share control with ur teammates if u trust them too

have u tried just having clarities perma activated and going like hotd mael manta mj linkens

i played vs that kind of antis no dmg no farm just afk creep
