    I have always thought that Viper's talent tree is supposed to be quite straightforward. However, Dotabuff data indicates people actually go in different directions. So can someone explain to me why you would not do as I do?

    Branch 1: 125 health is like half a Vitality Booster which costs 1100. 15 damage is slightly less than a Broadsword which costs 1200. In all honesty, Viper needs damage in early to farm and kill, as he has no way to flash farm and requires some ways to finance himself.

    Branch 2: I thought 90% would go for +14 agility. I was wrong. Why? As far as I am concerned, Viper is an Agility hero. Not only do you get double the stats, you get +14 damage. So why +7 strength?

    Branch 3: I usually go for +75 range if I am doing well and the enemy have problems closing in on me. If I constantly get jumped by physical attackers, I will go for +7 armour. What I feel is that +7 armour seems very meh compared to the talent armour increase of some other heroes.

    Branch 4: Adding 20 DPS to buildings? I thought this was the worst thing ever. The other is salvageable if you have an Aghanim Scepter, but this one is just bad. If you are level 25, chances are there are not many buildings left to kill, considering how aggressive Viper is. How is this that fully a third of the people playing hi actually get this and still win games?

    Viper's talent tree is quite bad and you are even more motivated to end the game early to avoid having to deal with other heroes' badass talents with your crappy ones. If you can shed some light on this subject for me, I would be thankful.

        poison attack on buildings is so good dude. its almost 30 dps not reduced by tower armor, makes sieging super easy and almost halves the towers attack speed.

            125 HP / 15 Dmg depends on how the game goes, if they got nukes especially Nyx who can catch you unguarded, I go for HP.

            Pretty much the same thing goes for 14 Agi / 7 Str , but I would only go for +7 Str if I get raped.

            75 atk range / 7 Armor is so easy for me, 7 Armor is pretty high compared to other talent trees, while 75 range is just sad as fuck, it's the lowest attack range talent you can get. I only get that range if game goes good and my team can distract/tank the fight.

            The last is weird for me too... It seems they give you an option of transition to Dragon Knight Lvl 1 Elder Form, or be a much salty Viper
            Well the choice is always +80 Viper Strike DPS for me, with or without Agh's. The DB stats aren't as they seem, people just stomp games and reached lvl 25 so they take the much clown talent because they couldn't have lost the game.

              if you are losing the game and never see the enemy base, you probably wont get the building dmg talent because it wont help you save your base.

              don't just follow the stats without thinking, if the strike dmg is better for that particular game then GET IT.
