You have antivirus scanning or auto-update running in background? My game crash because that annoying McAfee started scanning automatically, and can't be disabled. Uninstalled that shit and doing fine until now.
Try getting latest windows if you don't have them yet! if you're sure that your OS is not the thing that's causing the problem it's definitely the hardware!! you'll have to test by replacing each hardware individually to know which one's the one causing the problem (it could be the GPU/Harddisk/ CPU / Motherboard or ram) I used to have the same issue and it was the ram that was causing trouble for me! and it's always better post such issue on some computer forums or Reddit maybe but reddit is shit too
Anti virus are shit! I've never once in my life used AV! been on internet for more than a decade now!! honestly i think av just slowdown your desktop/laptop and brings up more issue and does nothing more than that!!
My RAM is good bought it like 3 Months ago, 8GB, but mby its GPU, I also have Win10 so OS is not problem

Sometimes I play, my dota just freeze up for like 10sec or more and dont have sound If that happens. I have tried updating my GPU Drivers and verifying my game cache but still nothing. It fucked up my last game bcuz it fucking randomed me TA while my dota was freezed ;( If somebody can help would be appreciated. Sry for my bad english.
