NORMAL SKILL=1MMR TO 3,199 MMR, HIGH SKILL = 3,200 TO 3,699 MMR, VERY high SKILL= 3,700 TO 4,999 MMR
1k mmr = clueless.
2k mmr means you are less clueless.
3k mmr are lucky 2k players (those who had omni spammers back in 6.0, or just fewer brain dead team mates)
All that is normal skill.
4k mmr - 5k mmr I HEARD is the same ( i might be wrong).
I think 5k and up is considered VHS.
normal skill means you dont know multiple critical mechanics that increase impact
high skill means you have ineffective habits that hold you back
the issue is that every ns/hs player is a special shitty snowflake that has their own sttengths and crippling weaknesses i think, not that ive spent much time as a coach
Okay so here is a follow up question then. I've been trying to work on my Hidden MMR so I don't queue with the terribads. I'm not the most skilled player but also don't deserve to play with Clueless people or people that actually just like to run down mid and feed. That all being said I try to go for carries or semi support. Its too painful when people don't pay attention to the vision you provide them on the map. But I average a 4-1 KD roughly 400CS in a 45-50min game and 7-900 XP/GPM. If I continued at that rate where would I fall. Its silly to hold the players back that actually know how to farm/when to push for the stupidity/ignorance of others.

I'm not sure what the exact differences between each skill bracket is on DotaBuff. I know there is Normal, High and Very High but what are the requirements for each? I'd like to improve my game before jumping into ranked again. Thanks.
