Lifestealer random picker. We still manage to snowball. Not a big issue in ranked
Random is not actually bad as many people think. Because the extra gold balances it and most heroes in dota can be played in all roles with extra gold. Ive even played support PL and we all know how Notail used to play support meepo. It means that even heroes that are easy to counter can find a place in another role with a little extra gold.
if its first pick random then team can pick around it
but if its last pick random then fuck that guy
even if he randoms a good hero thats a sign that he doesnt give a single fuck
Yeah it wasn't really a complaining thread. Random img isn't game losing it just makes the game more well, random.
Not sure that is good for ranked.
i have to agree with inx4c on this one
if you random for the first or maybe for the first 2 picks it isn't that much of a problem if you know how to play the heroes in the game
randoming last pick is just stupid in most cases(except if you are already prepared on all lanes, but still a good pick might be better).
There are some games where you have to go full idiot tho.
I remember one time that someone randomed at first pick and got some hero that he was bad with and wanted to swap, the team instantly started flaming him.
The second the timer hit for the next pick I randomed and asked him to swap me and dared all the team to go "full random or chicken".
I remember it being a stomp but I don't recall the game, neither the account, neither the heroes I played.
Sometimes you have to go full idiot to win the games and in the end the main reason we stomped them is having like 800 gold more at the start of the match.
Still I wouldn't advice anyone to do that.
The thing is that if they restricted it to one or two randoms only they you can guarantee there would be a randomer every game. This would result in RNG deciding games where noobs randoming Naga would conclude the game then and there.
I want it gone completely. I cannot stand it.

It doesn't really trigger me when people ranked (unless they have asked for and gotten last pick...) but does it really have a place in ranked? Seems an unnecessary bit of RNG.
It can make things more fun for the randomer but generally doesn't make the games any better. Just more likely to have a bad draft, start a player snowballing or leave a player with a hero he's crap at...
